If you are an engineer who does not hold a Profesional Engineers license, there are several membership options available to you depending on your current situation. Please review them below and select the one that best fits your needs:

Recent Graduate
PENC offers a graduated dues program for individuals who have graduated from an ABET accredited engineering program in the last five years. As a recent graduate, you can enjoy discounts of up to 80% off full dues rates depending on the year of graduation so that you receive the standard member benefits at a price you can afford at this stage in your career.
This is a three-tiered membership that includes membership in National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), Professional Engineers of North Carolina (PENC) and one of nine local chapters.

Engineer Not on a Licensure Track
Individuals who have attained an Associates degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, or an engineering-related field can become a member of PENC as a Non-Engineer Associate. This is a two-tiered membership that includes membership in PENC and one of the nine local chapters. Licensed PE's are not eligible for this membership.
