What should I do if the person I recruited forgot to put my name on the application?
No problem. Simply ask the person you recruited to send an e-mail confirming that you were the recruiter. Your full name along with your employer, member ID, or phone number should be included. Send the e-mail to klarsson@penc.org.
How will I keep track of my results?
PENC Central Office will keep track for you. If you ever have a question about your tally, please email klarsson@penc.org and we will be glad to assist you.
Can I get extra copies of the PENC membership application?
Yes, membership applications are available online to download and print.
Where can I find the rules and regulations of the campaign?
You can find them on the Member Campaign rules page.
If I don’t feel comfortable asking acquaintances to join but I feel they are good candidates for membership, what should I do?
You can use the online referral option which allows you to provide us with contact information for a potential membership candidate, and then PENC will take the next step by sending membership information and an application to the individual(s).
Please be aware that the new member must provide your name and employer or phone number on the application as the person who recruited them, otherwise we will not be able to give you credit for the new member(s) recruited.
Do chapters get any credit for recruiting new members?
Yes, chapters will be paid a commission for every new member that joins past the break even point (the chapter can not receive commission for members unless they have retained the amount they started the period with). The commission will be $10 for every new member and $5 for every converted 6 months free member.
Are there any prizes for the top recruiters?
Everyone who participates in this program will have the chance to win something:
- Recruit 1 - Get name entered into prize drawings (held once a month with prizes valued at over $25)
- Recruit 2 - Receive free NSPE membership and get name entered into drawing again
- Recruit 3 - Receive free PENC and NSPE membership and get name entered into drawing a third time
- Grand Prize - $1000 Visa Gift Card for the top recruiter
