PENC Legislative & Government Affairs

On Capitol Hill and in the NC state legislature, NSPE and PENC are the voice for America's licensed engineers and other engineering professionals. Through independent initiatives and coalitions, NSPE's advocacy efforts target engineering licensure, professional liability and tort reform, infrastructure, construction job site safety, procurement of engineering services, professional standards, engineering education and research, and the environment. Through its Political Action Committee, (NSPE-PAC and E-PAC) NSPE and PENC contribute to candidates for federal office who support public health and safety and represent the best interests of engineering professionals.
