North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors is responsible for the administration and regulation of the professions of engineering and land surveying in North Carolina. The Board reviews applications, administers examinations, licenses qualified applicants, and regulates the Professional practice of the licensees throughout the State. Complaints are investigated, and those requiring further action are scheduled for a hearing before the Board.
NSPE Code of Ethics has been recently revised (January 2006). We recommend engineers download and discuss the new Code of Ethics with your engineering peers.
