REGIONAL OFFICE MANAGER/SENIOR TRAFFIC ENGINEER for start up offices in Wilmington, NC; Charlotte, NC; Chattanooga, TN and Central Florida. 5+ years experience in traffic engineering/transportation studies for both public and private sector projects. Ideal candidate must possess excellent written/oral communication skills, a BSCE, and PE registration. Masters in Transportation and PTOE certification a plus. Public speaking and project management experience is essential.

MANAGER OF HYDRAULIC DESIGN for Raleigh, NC office. Working with an experienced team of highway design engineers, the successful candidate will be involved in highway design projects by providing designs for all drainage/storm water plans, storm water permitting, and proposals for the NCDOT, city and county government, and private development projects throughout all of NC and VA. Responsibilities will include performing and reviewing technical work, mentoring and staff development, business development, and project management. Service offerings will include storm water drainage system design, storm water handling facility design, erosion and sedimentation control designs, storm water permitting and compliance, and environmental permitting and compliance. Must be proficient in Microstation/Geopak and/or Autocad/Civil 3D, have knowledge of HEC-RAS, HDS-5 and various other hydrologic and hydraulic modeling programs.

The successful candidate will have a BS in civil engineering, registered as a professional engineer (PE) in NC, and a minimum of 10 years of drainage/storm water experience on roadway projects and knowledge of drainage design and modeling software. Ideal candidate will have experience managing and marketing hydraulic and storm water projects with NCDOT and the private development community. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

ENGINEERING (STUDENT) INTERN interested in traffic engineering/transportation studies and/or roadway design for both public and private sector projects. The ideal candidate will be completing a BSCE and aiming towards becoming a registered EI (and PE) and good communication skills. Knowledge of traffic engineering concepts/analysis software and CADD a plus, but not required. Part time during school or full-time (co-op or summer).
